Statement
This latest work is a sequence of films which all feature the artist eating an array of foods continuously until the tape runs out. All similar in design, the films are an obvious continuation of each other, but with each having its own identity through small changes in composition, props and food type.
"I'm doing this because I can, because I'm lucky enough to have the option to do this. I can sit and eat as much I can force myself to eat, just like anyone who can spare the money to do this can. I say I will eat 50 kinder eggs, bags of crisps, Baby bell, whatever, but when it comes to the reality of doing it, not only does it this become difficult physically but also morally. I'm a generic white male, there's nothing special about what I'm doing- I'm only emphasizing what we all do."
